Michael Arnold supports the LMI Human Capital Solutions leadership group as a principal for Human Capital Strategy. Mike has more than 30 years of experience in change management, human resources reform, and talent management.
A retired U.S. Army Colonel who served on multiple deployments and combat tours, Mike joined LMI following his tenure as deputy director of the U.S. Army Talent Management Task Force. On this task force, as a Highly Qualified Expert (HQE), he led his team in transforming the legacy human resource processes that affect the way the Army acquires, develops, employs, and retains individual talent in its total force of 1.3 million people.
Mike earned a master of arts in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and was selected as a National Security Affairs Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He has authored and co-authored various research projects and implemented initiatives focused on talent differentiation, future workforce planning, succession planning/career pathing, executive coaching strategies, assessment instrument development and implementation, and human resource reform.
