Tysons, Va.—The United States Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 17th Training Group, 312th Training Squadron, has selected LMI to support its mission of training and developing fire emergency services across the Department of Defense. As part of this nearly $3 million contract, LMI will develop, implement, and maintain a Human Performance Program to improve firefighter training and reduce injuries and failure rates.

The program encompasses techniques to facilitate physical skill development and application for students and staff. Task areas include diagnostic analysis to observe and assess physical training requirements; physical performance to create and monitor physical training, fitness, and nutrition programs; education to develop and inform on optimal health strategies; and analysis and reporting to monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.

“It’s an honor to partner with AETC to improve the readiness and resilience of its forces. This effort is a great example of our shared commitment to excellence and operational efficiency.”
