LMI employees formed the LMI Consulting Political Action Committee (LMI PAC) to make voluntary personal contributions to candidates whose policy positions align on issues of importance to the government consulting industry and LMI. Governed by a leadership team and board of directors comprised of LMI executives, the nonpartisan LMI PAC contributes to the campaigns of congressional candidates; it does not consider any candidate’s party affiliation or positions on unrelated issues. The LMI PAC does not make contributions for presidential elections or candidates at the state or local level.
Employees, investors, and any otherwise lawful source can voluntarily donate up to $5,000 per year to the LMI PAC. The LMI PAC is managed in compliance with all applicable campaign finance laws and all contributions are reported to the FEC. Contributions to the LMI PAC are not tax deductible, can be used in connection with federal elections, and are subject to the limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act and similar laws. Federal law requires the LMI PAC to make best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and employer of all LMI PAC contributors.
The LMI PAC pays for all its activities. No candidate or candidate’s committee authorizes LMI PAC activities. No in-kind contributions are made. All political contributions are made in the United States.
