Marlise Streitmatter
Senior Consultant, Human Capital Strategy
Marlise leads LMI’s new normal practice, helping federal agencies transition to hybrid and remote operational models, integrate virtual technologies, and train supervisors to manage a highly engaged distributed workforce. Furnishing expertise in strategic planning, organizational and culture assessments, change management, employee engagement, and strategic communications, she has advised organizations in the aerospace and aviation, defense, national security, and transportation sectors.
Prior to LMI, Marlise led the Department of Transportation’s ascent to becoming one of the federal government’s top 10 best places to work. As deputy chief of staff, she managed daily operations and advised senior leaders on policy, budget, human capital, and communications. At the World Bank, Marlise directed a public diplomacy effort that yielded historic financial commitments in development aid for the world’s poorest countries. She also held senior roles at the Department of Defense and for a member of Congress.
Marlise is a LUMA-certified Human-Centered Design Practitioner and holds a bachelor’s from the University of Illinois.
