Michael Lujan

Mike is a principal data scientist in LMI’s advanced analytics & AI division. During his over 10 years at LMI, he has supported numerous government customers, including DoD, the services, Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He leads a team of data scientist, data engineers, and software developers across multiple projects in developing analytic methods, such as generative AI and modeling and simulation. He is a product owner for LMI’s rapid prototyping division, LMI Forge, leading the development of new innovative tools from concept to product. Mike earned his PhD in theoretical physics from George Washington University, where he is an adjunct professor of physics.
