Mr. Pete Pflugrath leads strategy and execution for the Logistics business at LMI. He has over 30 years’ experience as a transformational leader, building strong teams that create solutions for national priority programs across the defense, national security, and healthcare markets. Prior to LMI, Pete held executive leadership positions at American Systems, Raytheon/BBN Technologies, Stanley Associates (now CGI), and PRC (now Northrop Grumman). He has extensive experience delivering advanced research and development solutions and ready-to-field systems. He deployed overseas several times in support of military operational logistics in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm, Somalia during Operation Restore Hope, and Bosnia during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Pete's work has been recognized with several awards, including “Best Fielded Artificial Intelligence System in the Department of Defense (DoD)” by NDIA and “Best Information Sharing Application in DoD” by the DoD Office of the Chief Information Officer. He served for many years as a cochair of the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation Technical Committee and on an expert panel for the Visual Analytics Science and Technology Challenge, sponsored by the Computer Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Pete holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the College of William & Mary and a master's degree in software engineering from George Mason University.
