Donna Diederich
Chief Human Resources Officer
Donna Diederich serves as LMI’s chief human resources officer (CHRO), overseeing all aspects of the human resources organization, including talent acquisition; diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility; talent management and development; culture, total rewards, and HR technology; internal communications; and overall employee experience.
Under Donna’s leadership, LMI has received multiple top places to work awards, including The Washington Post’s 2021 Top Workplaces Award in the largest companies category for the Greater Washington, DC, area, Top Places to Work USA in 2021 and 2022, and Built In’s 2024 Best Places to Work, in addition to being recognized three years in a row for excellence in early career hiring by Ripple Match and earning the Demonstrated Employer Equity/Inclusion in Practice Designation (D.E.E.P.) employer designation from George Mason University. In recognition of the impact she has made as LMI’s CHRO, Donna received WashingtonExec’s 2023 Pinnacle Award for HR Executive of the Year, Private & Public Companies in 2023.
Prior to joining LMI, Donna served as chief human resources officer at Abt Associates, where she focused on building a global talent strategy. She has more than 20 years of experience in senior human resources positions and leadership roles, including as senior vice president of CACI International’s human resources department, vice president of human resources for the National Public Sector and the Americas Region of DXC Technology (formerly CSC), and director, human resources defense systems division at Northrop Grumman, where she served as a human resource leader for nine years.
In addition to her extensive human resources background, Donna has developed and executed organizational change communications and strategy. She is a Prosci-certified executive who has designed and implemented numerous training programs affiliated with change management and has vast experience with assisting organizations with cross-departmental transitions.
Donna received her bachelor’s from Missouri State University and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification. She has taken executive programs in business development and selling from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, human resources at Cornell and the University of Michigan, and strategic talent management at UCLA.
