Ryan Wempe

Ryan Wempe supports LMI’s Human Capital Solutions leadership group as the practice area lead for human capital strategy and planning. Ryan has nearly 20 years of leadership experience spanning intelligence operations in the Department of Defense, data and analytics at a Fortune 100 firm, and consulting in the public sector. 

Ryan joined LMI as a principal product development leader in 2022. At LMI, he has supported innovation and prototyping efforts within LMI Forge and served as a product and experience management professional on a U.S. Army contract. 

Prior to LMI, Ryan was a product manager in the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) Enterprise Data and Analytics Headquarters Office for five years. Ryan also served as an active-duty U.S. Army intelligence officer for nearly a decade. He is a combat veteran who spent 40 months in Iraq (East Baghdad) and Afghanistan (Kunar, Uruzgan, and Kandahar Provinces).   

Ryan has a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He holds an MBA from the Greehey School of Business at St. Mary’s University, where he was a Texas Business Hall of Fame Scholar.
