Tysons, Va.— The U.S. Air Force awarded LMI a 5-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract with two initial task orders to expand support to the Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) and the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC). This contract, totaling $98M, will further develop LMI’s Rapid Analysis & Prototyping Toolkit for Resiliency (RAPTR™)—LMI’s flagship model-based system engineering simulation and analysis toolkit trusted within the National Security Space enterprise.

RAPTR™ provides an extensible, scalable architecture for modeling, simulation, analysis, and visualization for the space warfighting domain as well as cross-domain integration and informs rapid decision-making to plan for asset deployment. Under this contract, LMI will support program management, space systems modeling, simulation, prototyping & analysis (MSP&A), space systems operations MSP&A, and space systems MSP&A technical integration.
