How long have you been with LMI?
I joined LMI in July 2021 when it acquired Suntiva, where I previously led the company’s defense and intelligence business practice and served in a variety of service delivery roles.
What are you responsible for as the vice president of defense business development at LMI?
I have the privilege of listening to our customers talk about their toughest challenges and working with our amazing team of innovators at LMI to identify, develop, and mature solutions that will meet these challenges at the pace of need.
What has been your role in supporting LMI’s suite of capabilities?
My role is to listen closely to what our customers are saying and gain insight into their current challenges. My LMI teammates and I identify solutions that align with operational relevancy and help our customers move from emerging need to extraordinary impact. LMI’s capabilities such as LogSmart, predictive logistics, digital and analytic solutions, advisory solutions, and our wide variety of contested logistics offerings allow us to facilitate mission requirements while optimizing time to value.
Why do you like working at LMI or why did you pick to work at LMI?
LMI has found a way to strike an extremely delicate balance between serving our customers’ most complex mission needs and ensuring our employees feel valued and have opportunities for professional growth. The investment in both areas is obvious from the first day you start here at LMI.
What has been the most impactful project you have supported while working at LMI?
It’s hard to pick just one—I’m blessed to be involved in a wide variety of projects. I get my energy from seeing both new and long-standing customers continue to show their trust in our people and their ability to develop innovative solutions. It’s gratifying and humbling to hear customers express their gratitude for our solving a tough problem they faced.
What’s the part of your job that makes you excited to come to work every day?
Every day is different! Much of my career has been spent leading and supporting Army technology implementations, but LMI has given me the opportunity to apply that experience across a broader and more diverse customer set throughout the Department of Defense. I now have the pleasure of interacting with customers across the entire Department who have a massively broad spectrum of missions and challenges, but who all share the goal of defending our great nation.
My LMI teammates and I identify solutions that align with operational relevancy and help our customers move from emerging need to extraordinary impact.
