Tracy Daubenspeck
Senior Consultant, Acquisition Logistics
Tracy Daubenspeck serves as an acquisition logistics senior consultant, supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) in parts and obsolescence management by developing best practices, guidance, and policy. Tracy retired as a civil servant from the United States Navy at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport in 2020 after 37 years of service. His involvement with the diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) community includes contributions to the development of Standardization-related Document (SD)-22, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages: A Guidebook of Best Practices for Implementing a Robust DMSMS Management Program; SD-26, DMSMS and Parts Management Contracting Guide; and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 62402, Obsolescence Management.
Tracy holds a bachelor’s in industrial technology and is a certified business process reengineering practitioner as well as a certified project manager. He received the DMSMS Lifetime Achievement award in 2018 and the Navy honored him with the Superior Civilian Service award in 2020. Tracy supports local activities at youth camps, plays guitar on worship teams, and enjoys fishing, boating, hiking, and kayaking.
