Rajaa Alami

Rajaa is a product manager and biomedical engineer at LMI supporting a U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity contract at Fort Detrick, Maryland. She has over 15 years of experience working in the bioscience and biomedical fields as a civilian and in the private sector. Some of this experience includes working with Becton Dickenson in building the latest bio-imagers that range over a million dollars each. Also, working as biomedical patent engineer at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, reviewing and adjudicating more than a thousand innovative biomedical patents from renowned companies such as Olympus, Fujifilm, Philips, and Karl Storz.
Rajaa received her bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology, she is currently pursuing a master’s in engineering management with a focus in systems engineering from University of Florida.
