Patrick (PK) Kirk
VP, Navy & Air Force Submarket
Patrick (PK) Kirk leads LMI’s Navy & Air Force submarket, where he builds customer and ecosystem relationships to deepen the brand of LMI’s defense market. He is vested in advancing purpose-driven outcomes of LMI’s Navy and Air Force customers while gaining greater access, presence, and influence with them. Patrick brings over 35 years of experience in the Department of Defense industry and has significant expertise with driving rapid acquisition strategies to deliver capabilities to warfighters.
Prior to joining LMI, Patrick was the Vice President of Operations for the Defense, Security, and Justice practice and client business leader for the City of San Antonio at Deloitte, where he consulted on acquisitions, drove growth to scale, and executed for profit, revenue, and growth goals. Over his career, he served customers at the local level and throughout the DoD market space, specifically the Army, Air Force, and Navy. While at Deloitte, Patrick headed the largest IT engagement in the Army space, secured the multi-year contract that led to the merger of the 24th and 25th numbered Air Forces into the 19th numbered Air Force, and, while serving the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization, he was credited with the development of the rapid acquisition framework that became the foundation of the DoD Rapid Acquisition Process.
In addition to his record of moving businesses forward, managing profit and loss, and connecting business strategy and goals to optimize return while minimizing risk, Patrick is proud of his work with veterans as they seek to connect, belong, and grow after service to our nation.
Patrick holds a bachelor’s in business management from California Polytechnic State University and a master's in administration from Central Michigan University. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and holds a master’s in acquisition program management from the Federal Acquisition Certification Academy.
“LMI has an incredible brand in the market; being part of the leadership team that puts that brand into motion throughout DoD and into the Navy and Air Force market is incredibly powerful.”
