As a senior leader of LMI’s technology assessment practice, Dawson helps customers understand new capabilities and explore potential solutions to current and future mission requirements. Prior to LMI, Oslund was a senior program analyst with The Tauri Group, which LMI acquired in 2019.
A retired United States Air Force colonel, Dawson served 23 years as a program manager and aircraft maintenance officer. He also served as director of the Washington, D.C., office of the U.S. Air Force Academy and deputy program manager for operations and sustainment for the Missile Defense Agency, overseeing the $1.7 billion Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communication program.
Dawson earned his doctorate in social and economic sciences at Vienna University of Economics and Business in Vienna, Austria. He holds a bachelor’s in engineering mechanics from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a master’s in logistics management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology. and a master’s in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
