David Greinke

David supplies subject matter expertise to the Department of Defense (DoD) parts management and diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) communities. He supports all aspects of the DoD Parts Management Working Group and its eight associated strategic objective teams, serving as a member on two (parts management policy and guidance, and parts management best practices). He furnishes program analysis, strategic planning and strategy development, technical committee support, research products, and case studies for the DoD Defense Standardization Program Office.  

David supports the DoD DMSMS and Parts Management program manager as an active planner and participant in the DMSMS annual conference, moderating and presenting technical sessions. His responsibilities include the curation of knowledge sharing portals on DMSMS and defense parts management, hosted by Defense Acquisition University.

David’s 35 years of experience also encompass the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process; science and technology studies and experimentation; national health system policy and compliance; international armaments cooperation; and intelligence analysis. The American Society of Military Comptrollers certified him as a defense financial manager.

David graduated from Furman University with a bachelor’s in political science.
