Sandra Pérez joined LMI in 2014 and has served in a variety of roles in the Office of Corporate Communications. In her capacity as Vice President of Communications and a member of the senior leadership team, she is responsible for strategic communications, marketing, external relations, corporate citizenship, and the company’s research and information services.
Prior to joining LMI, Sandra served in leadership positions in two small businesses specializing in strategic communications and community engagement in the commercial and public sectors. In these roles, she led company operations and consulting projects for the District of Columbia, USAID, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Defense. Sandra also developed crisis communications strategies for Fortune 500 companies in the digital crisis practice of Burson-Marsteller, the world’s largest communications firm.
Sandra earned her bachelor’s degree in political communication and master’s in global communication in international affairs from George Washington University. She managed media productions for several university offices and was a production assistant for a variety of national news and television networks, including Reuters and American Public Television.
