In step with LMI’s emphasis on hiring veterans, LMI Chairman Mike Daniels was the keynote speaker at the inaugural AUSA Values Veterans event, which provides employers in Northern Virginia with training for supporting veteran hires.
The event drew representatives from more than 25 Northern Virginia-based organizations seeking to strengthen their efforts to hire military veterans. Daniels addressed the value proposition of hiring veterans, sharing how veterans have been at the core of businesses he helped grow into enduring, highly respected, multi-billion dollar enterprises.
Joining Daniels were Randy Carr, Senior Human Resource Manager, and Luke Knittig, Manager of External Relations, who both participated on the employers’ panel by offering advice and examples of how to put veterans into direct, positive relationship with hiring managers and rewarding job opportunities.
