LMI today announced that its board of directors has approved the appointment of the Honorable Ken Krieg as chair of its board of directors, effective April 3, 2019. Krieg succeeds Todd Stottlemyer, who remains a member of LMI’s board.
Furthermore, Lisa Disbrow has been elected to chair the audit committee. She joined LMI’s board in June 2018 after a 32-year career in civilian and military service, ultimately serving as the 25th Under Secretary of the Air Force and Acting Secretary of the Air Force.
“We are honored to see Ken step into the role of board chair, and we look forward to Todd’s continued contributions to the board and LMI’s strategic growth while he focuses on his new role in leading CNSI,” LMI President and CEO Dave Zolet said.
Stottlemyer is stepping down as chair following his recent appointment as chief executive officer (CEO) of health information technology firm CNSI. He has served on LMI’s board since 2015, and he previously served as CEO of the Inova Health System’s Center for Personalized Health.
“Public service is in Ken’s DNA, and leadership is one of his many strengths. He will undoubtedly help advance LMI’s vision for the future as its board chair,” Stottlemyer said. “I look forward to continuing to serve the mission of LMI and its customers alongside my esteemed colleagues on the board.”
Krieg joined LMI’s board in December 2008. He runs Samford Global Strategies and serves as a director for BWX Technologies and several private companies. Krieg is the former Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics. Before his appointment, he served as special assistant to the Secretary of Defense and Director for Program Analysis & Evaluation.
“It’s an honor to be elected to the position, and I look forward to leading the board of directors and working with Dave Zolet to advance LMI’s mission of improving the business of government,” Krieg said. “After serving more than 10 years on the board, I know LMI is poised for meaningful growth while staying faithful to our heritage. It’s a privilege to serve as chair during this exciting time.”
