Col. Mike Flanagan is the lead for LMI’s Army business development, with over 30 years of leadership and strategic experience. He joined LMI from CACI, where he was vice president of the Training and Warfighter Readiness Division, overseeing Joint, Army, and Navy training solution and service contracts. Prior to that assignment, Mike retired from the U.S. Army as a colonel with over 27 years’ service, of which 17 years were spent serving the Army’s Acquisition Corps. His proudest assignments were leading the Army’s two oldest project management offices, the Abrams Tank System and Training Devices (aka TRADE). 
 
Mike is DoD Level III certified in program management. He has a master’s in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College, a master’s in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University, and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Mike actively supports veterans and veteran issues as president of the local chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army and secretary for the West Point Society of Richmond.
