Kelli Canada, PMP, LEED-GA is a consultant in LMI’s Infrastructure, Energy, and Environment group, focusing on sustainable design, operation, and management of federal office buildings and climate change adaptation and risk management. In addition to developing strategies to improve energy and water efficiency and facility resiliency, increase use of renewables, and reduce waste,she focuses on using real-time ambient and wearable sensors to understand the impact of office buildings on subjective and objective measures of human health and well-being such as stress, activity, and sleep quality. She works with the General Services Administration to translate findings from this research into operational, health-enhancing strategies as part of a comprehensive approach to sustainable buildings. Kelli holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and biology from Washington College and a master’s degree in environmental science from American University.
