Kellene Ecker is a director of LMI’s National Security market, with over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors. She has spent 22 years within the Intelligence Community (IC), in both analytical and operational capacities. Kellene manages a portfolio of projects for LMI, providing the full scope of duties from project execution, to the development and delivery of deliverables, to oversight of contract administration, to the management of project personnel. In addition, she is a senior consultant providing high-level guidance to the management teams of several specialized IC programs. This support includes strategic planning, business process improvement, customer outreach, training, and research and analysis.
Before LMI, Kellene worked for several nonprofit organizations, including Africare, the Africa-America Institute, and the Carter Center, where she developed and implemented specialized programs and supported public relations, community outreach, and resource development. Her areas of expertise are African politics, counterterrorism, and multilateral issues. She also possesses experience in and knowledge of foreign policy analysis, project development and implementation, and training and educational development.
Kellene holds a bachelor’s in international relations from Emory University and a master’s in international affairs from Florida State University. Further, she holds certifications as a Human Capital Strategist, Project Management Professional, and Lean Six Sigma practitioner.
