As a government shared services platform, the Corporate Resources and Infrastructure (CRI) organization delivers value by delivering a suite of administrative and support services across the Intelligence Community as effectively and efficiently as possible. In its quest for continual improvement, CRI turned to LMI for help with identifying ways to conduct its business even better.
Multidisciplinary teams reviewed various CRI business processes and found numerous opportunities. We designed and helped implement a performance program that culminated in a low-cost metrics “dashboard” for CRI managers. We also provided CRI management new transparency into the cost of providing services to multiple agency customers. For example, we translated complicated financial and budgetary terminology into language familiar to functional service providers, ensuring all stakeholders are now on the same page.
Building on the cost-of-services effort, CRI further entrusted us with developing its future-year program-funding model. The model will replace an outdated model and ensure that CRI customers contribute funding in proportion to the amount of services they receive.
