Brad Karony Brings Humanities to Human Intelligence

Karony, who previously served nearly two decades in the Central Intelligence Agency, shared how he arrived at the decision to pursue a career in intelligence, the relationship between HUMINT and signals intelligence, and the importance his humanities background played in his work. The ideal traits of a HUMINT operator, Karony says, are “life experience, writing, and being a good listener.”
